Pharmacists can screen for social determinants of health and patient beliefs about medications as a way to improve adherence and subsequent outcomes in heart failure.

Pharmacists can play a key role in heart failure treatment. Three studies presented at the American College of Clinical Pharmacy 2024 Annual Meeting looked at medication satisfaction, management, and social determinants of health screening.
