Are you planning to seek accreditation so you can sell durable medical equipment, prosthetics, and supplies (DMEPOS) under Medicare Part B? If so, you might find a new course by Cardinal Health helpful. The wholesaler has partnered with the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation (HQAA) to offer a course, via Webinars and teleconferences, to help Cardinal Health retail pharmacies pass accreditation. As part of this program, participants will get a manual, pre-accreditation audit by a Cardinal Health consultant, training, and other benefits. More than 200 pharmacies have signed up for the course, which costs from $2,000 to $2,800, depending on the complexity of the pharmacy involved.
