Walgreens CEO: Five trends expected to spur compliance
Five trends will improve drug compliance in the next five to 10 years. They include e-prescriptions, electronic healthcare records, standard messaging, RFID, and pay for performance. That's the contention of Walgreens CEO David Bernauer, who spoke at the NACDS annual meeting in Palm Beach, Fla. He added that NACDS has set up a meeting with PhRMA and some drug company CEOs on June 15 to discuss how to improve compliance.
