Craig Svensson has been named dean of the Purdue University College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences. A member of the University of Iowa faculty with more than 20 years' teaching experience, Svensson will take over his new duties at Purdue effective Oct. 1 pending approval by Purdue's board of trustees.

Craig Svensson has been named dean of the Purdue University College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences. A member of the University of Iowa faculty with more than 20 years' teaching experience, Svensson will take over his new duties at Purdue effective Oct. 1 pending approval by Purdue's board of trustees. Svensson has received NIH's James A. Shannon Director's award as well as a teacher of the year award from the University of Iowa. "Craig Svensson is an outstanding educator, researcher, and administrator," commented Purdue provost Sally Mason. "He understands the challenges and opportunities facing the college. As the new dean, he will continue to build upon the excellent reputation of these programs."
