R.Ph.s called critical to reducing surgical infections
The vigorous involvement of health-system pharmacists is critical in reducing surgery-related infections under guidelines recently promulgated by Medicare's National Surgical Infection Prevention Project (SIP) (see Drug Topics, July 26).
