The next Total Pharmacy Solutions Summit is quickly approaching, set to take place on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 9 AM to 3 PM. This highly-anticipated event, focused on elevating patient-centric care, is a day of learning that independent pharmacists won’t want to miss.

The day will kick off with a keynote session delivered by Nicolette Mathey, PharmD, founder & CEO of ATRIUM24. Mathey will discuss innovative pharmacy business management solutions in elevating patient care, how pharmacists can effectively integrate services to improve patient outcomes, and strategies to streamline workflows.

Other featured speakers include:

Pacience Edwards, PharmD, manager of compliance at Outcomes, will discuss how to navigate the evolving pharmacy landscape, and how technology and pharmacogenomics are increasing pharmacy efficiency and patient care.

Sandra C. Canally, RN, founder and CEO of the Compliance Team, will discuss how value-based care can move a pharmacy from transaction-based care to clinical-based services and improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Kelly Malkamaki, RPh, senior product pharmacy analyst at AssureCare, will talk about the value of medication adherence, and how it impacts both patient outcomes and pharmacy profitability.

Kristen Thorson, PharmD, director of medical value and outcomes at Sanofi, will review the impact and burden of influenza on public health, as well as discuss flu vaccine technology and important study endpoints on flu outcomes and complications.

The day will also feature 2 continuing education sessions worth over 1.50 CE credits, free for day-of attendees. The first CE session, led by Tori Pravato, PharmD, PGY1 pharmacy resident at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, is focused on effective strategies for preventing and treating Clostridioides difficile infections; the second will be led by Sneha Baxi Srivastava, PharmD, BCACP, CDCES, associate professor and associate director of skills education at Rosalind Franklin University, and will focus on health communication strategies.
