Pharmacy network joins GPO for specialty drug discounts
Community Specialty Pharmacy Network, a network of more than 100 independent specialty pharmacies, is partnering with Managed Healthcare Associates.
Community Specialty Pharmacy Network (CSPN), a network of more than 100 independent specialty pharmacies, is partnering with Managed Healthcare Associates (MHA). MHA provides group purchasing organization (GPO) services to specialty, home infusion, home health care, and other alternate site locations. Both organizations hope the move will help in the effort to establish specialty pharmacy as a distinct class of trade. "CSPN will offer its members new opportunities with this GPO offering, and MHA will have immediate access to a community-based pharmacy network," stated Ed Dillon, CSPN CEO.
