Fun Run Trainer
• Fun Run Trainer. Showing perfect timing for those who want to lose holiday pounds or who will be setting fitness goals for the new year, iFit Technologies has launched the world’s first virtual treadmill experience. Fun Run Trainer is an Apple iPhone application that allows users to run, walk, or jog seemingly anywhere in the world, as if they were really there, while using any treadmill. The app uses Google Map imagery that moves at the same speed as the treadmill; it even shows incline changes. Users can follow famous marathon events or popular scenic routes, or create their own custom routes. Cost varies by country, but is less than that of a Big Mac and fries. Gelusil
• Gelusil. WellSpring has introduced a carton change for Gelusil, which offers multi-symptom digestive relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, bloating discomfort, and gas pressure. The new carton, which should begin hitting store shelves April 1, 2011, offers a number of changes: increased font size for drug facts, horizontal and vertical orientation to maximize placement at retail, and sharper imaging to better appeal to consumers. In addition, where the current carton has no mention of safety, the new carton will note that Gelusil has been “Safe & Effective for over 70 years.” Also, where the current carton is unclear on what exactly is inside the carton (a bottle?), the new carton will have clearly visible convenient foil trays. The formulation is the same, and the UPC will not change. (www.gelusil.com)
