The maker of PROCIT (epoetin alfa) is voluntarily recalling one lot after discovering cracks in the necks of some vials that could potentially keep the drug from remaining sterile. Ortho Biotech is recalling manufacturing lot P114942A. Approximately 44,292 vials of this lot were distributed between April 15 and July 17 of this year.
