Digital Therapeutic Shows Significant Reduction in Episodic Migraine

In September, Click Therapeutics announced successful results from its phase 3 trial testing the use of a digital therapeutic CT-132 for treating adults’ migraines. The therapy is designed to be used alongside a 12-week regimen of clinical intervention intended to reduce brain hypersensitivity by modulating responses to environmental and internal stimuli. Results were gathered from the randomized ReMMi-D trial.

Nonopioid Suzetrigine Demonstrates Positive Phase 3 Results for Acute Pain

At the annual meeting of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, which took place from October 18 to 22 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, researchers presented positive phase 3 clinical trial results for suzetrigine—a nonopioid pain medication used for acute pain management. Known as a “potent and highly selective inhibitor of NaV1.8,” suzetrigine is also considered to have zero potential for misuse or abuse.
