Lorrie Kline Kaplan has announced her resignation as executive director of the National Home Infusion Association, effective mid-March 2007. Kaplan, who joined NHIA in 1991, has served as executive director since 1997. "After 15 years with NHIA and 10 years as executive director, I feel extremely proud of the organization we've built together and the role that I've been fortunate to play in that," she said. "I always knew it would be difficult to leave. But I believe the time has come for me to seek a new challenge, and that NHIA is well positioned to bring in new leadership that will take the organization to the next level." A search firm is in the process of finding a replacement for Kaplan.
