Innovation Group has launched a medication adherence service called InnovationRx following a research partnership with Northeastern University's School of Pharmacy. Designed to improve patients' compliance with their drug regimen, the service includes many features, from a pharmacist-staffed call center to medication reminders that patients can take advantage of at various subscription prices per month. Plans start at $7.99 a month. The Newton, Mass., firm is also seeking clients from pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers, physician groups, hospitals, and others. To date, several pharmacies in the Boston area have signed on as customers.
