Millennium Pharmaceuticals, the Takeda Oncology Company, and Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. have announced approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of Velcade (bortezomib) for patients with previously untreated multiple myeloma (MM).
