The school recently opened a new campus in Bradenton, Fla., where it welcomed 85 students for their first day of the four-year program this month. More than half the students are from Florida. "There is a critical shortage of pharmacists, and Florida is one of nine states leading the demand for new pharmacists," said John M. Ferretti, D.O., LECOM president. "The development of the Florida campus was warranted, and we are pleased to begin today in Bradenton, Fla., the education of the professionals to answer that demand."
