Independent community pharmacists who want to sell or expand their business can consult with a new network of resources established by AmerisourceBergen Corp.

The company has launched the Pharmacy Ownership Program to match qualified buyers with independent community pharmacies who are interested in selling their businesses, according to a press statement.

“Our team of experienced pharmacy ownership consultants is available to guide you every step of the way and provide confidential assistance from the initial planning to final sale,” said AJ Caffentzis, senior vice president of sales and marketing, AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation.

The consultants assist both potential buyers and sellers, without a brokerage fee, and help provide financing options with established banking partners and finalize the sale.
