Independent pharmacists contend that the co-branded Rx cards confuse beneficiaries into mistakenly thinking they can get their medications only at the drugstores shown on their ID cards. U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. (D, N.J.) reportedly plans to investigate charges that Rx plans are steering patients to chains.
