NCPA and NACDS have filed a preliminary injunction against CMS to stop the implementation of its average manufacturer price rule.
NCPA and NACDS have asked a federal court to issue a preliminary injunction to stop CMS from following through on its plans to implement the average manufacturer price rule. Last week, the organizations report authored by Stephen W. Schondelmeyer, Pharm.D., Ph.D., of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota. The report found that the AMP rule could result in the loss of more than 10,000 pharmacies.
