In a letter to the chairman and ranking member of the House of Representatives' Health Subcommittee of the Committee on Energy & Commerce, NACDS called for the enactment of provisions that would provide healthcare cost savings, expand access to medications, facilitate effective communications with consumers, and foster operational efficiency for community pharmacy. NACDS' letter, which was addressed to subcommittee chairman Frank Pallone (D, N.J.) and ranking member Nathan Deal (R, Ga.), is in regard to legislation reauthorizing the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) and components of a broad FDA package.
