NACDS' Total Store Expo, opening at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, on Saturday, August 10, brings together its Marketplace Conference, its Pharmacy & Technology Conference, and its Supply Chain & Logistics Conference.
On Saturday, August 10, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Total Store Expo opens at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, bringing together more than 5,400 retailers and suppliers to conduct business for four days.
NACDS has combined three of its conferences into one event this August, offering the industry a new approach to doing business. Attendees of the NACDS Marketplace Conference, NACDS Pharmacy & Technology Conference, and the NACDS Supply Chain & Logistics Conference will converge at the NACDS Total Store Expo, allowing business partners to work together across departments and functions with an eye toward the entire store.
Attendees can look forward to the Business Programs on Sunday, August 11 and Monday, August 12, hearing from NACDS Chairman of the Board Robert J. Narveson, president and CEO, Thrifty White Pharmacy; NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson, IOM, CAE; Jim Collins, author and business consult; and Hillary Rodham Clinton, former secretary of state and former U.S. senator from New York.
Other highlights include Insight Sessions and Super Sessions, which are identified by one of three subject areas: consumer goods, pharmacy, and supply chain.
On Saturday, August 10, the Meet the Retailer program provides a “how-to” for exhibitors who want to conduct business with retail companies. The program gives exhibitors opportunities to present their companies and products to retailers in a series of 10-minute appointments arranged by NACDS.
To better navigate the show, download the NACDS Total Store Expo mobile app. This tool includes interactive maps, a schedule of events, an exhibitor list, a photo gallery, and a function enabling users to set up profiles and interact with other attendees. The NACDS conference website, tse.nacds.org, offers resources to help exhibitors and retailers connect. It also has video tutorials, preparation checklists, and a tool for scheduling meetings.
“As with all our meetings and conferences, NACDS is dedicated to the success of all the retailers and suppliers attending the inaugural NACDS Total Store Expo,” said Anderson. “I can think of no better way to put a capstone on the 80th anniversary of NACDS than with this uniquely powerful show format.”
