Besides recommended and not recommended Internet pharmacy sites, NABP is adding a third one-reviewed but not accredited.
As of July, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy will establish a third category of Internet pharmacies to join its existing two categories of “recommended” and “not recommended” sites. This third category will reside in the middle-having been reviewed by NABP and found to appear to be compliant with state and federal laws, but not nabbing full accreditation status. NABP explained that creating this third category will provide consumers with more information about the Internet pharmacy landscape.
