The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) has requested pharmacists in all settings complete the NAPLEX pharmacy practice analysis survey. The survey results will help NABP update and validate the NAPLEX competency standards, according to NABP.
Every five years, NABP surveys pharmacists to ensure that NAPLEX continues to be a valid licensing exam. The survey results will be reviewed by the NAPLEX Review Committee, Advisory Committee on Examinations, and the NABP Executive Committee for policy suggestions and final approval.
“The approved competencies and blueprint are expected to be implemented in the NAPLEX during 2015, and all schools and colleges of pharmacy, as well as state boards of pharmacy, will be notified of these revisions,” NABP wrote.
Pharmacists can take the survey until mid-May 2014.
