NABP accredits first wholesaler
Henry Schein Inc. has become the first wholesale drug distributor to receive accreditation for its entire distribution system by NABP's Verified Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD) program
Henry Schein Inc. has become the first wholesale drug distributor to receive accreditation for its entire distribution system by NABP's Verified Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD) program. Henry Schein received VAWD accreditation for its facilities in Indianapolis; Jacksonville, Fla.; Dever, Pa.; Grapevine, Texas; and Sparks, Nev., as well as for two of its subsidiaries. The VAWD program was established to bring uniformity and standardization to wholesale operations nationwide and has been recognized by 15 states. To date, 74 facilities have been accredited by the VAWD program.
