Bruce Kneeland: Hi, my name is Bruce Kneeland. I’m a community pharmacist consultant, and it’s my good fortune to be able to travel around the country and meet successful pharmacy owners. Today it’s my honor to be here in Phoenix, Arizona, and meet with Theresa Dickinson, owner of Melrose Pharmacy. Theresa, tell us a little bit about yourself.
Theresa Dickinson, RPh: So I am an independent pharmacy owner. I started when I went to college wanting just to be a chain pharmacist. And then shortly after college, being in a chain, I realized that was not what I needed or what I wanted. So I learned about opening up my own independent pharmacy and then I ended up doing the research and doing that, so I can give myself back to the community and be appreciated by my patients.
