This year’s conference is taking place from April 10 to 12 in Austin, Texas.

The American Associated Pharmacies’ 2025 Annual Conference is set to take place this week in the “Live Music Capital of the World,” Austin, Texas. The event will be packed with informative speakers, educational CE sessions and a diverse collection of exhibitors that pharmacists from across the country won’t want to miss. This year’s theme, “No Limits: Doing More Together,” aims to prove that a pharmacy’s success is truly endless.

The venue for AAP’s Annual Conference, which will be held from April 10 to 12, is the Hilton Austin. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city’s downtown, just a couple of blocks from famed Congress Avenue and Sixth Street. While there is plenty of opportunity for dining and entertainment outside of the venue, the hotel itself offers 2 restaurants, a Topgolf Swing suite, an F45 training studio, and a rooftop pool overlooking the city.

This year’s meeting features tons of sessions on a range of key topics. From understanding DEA inspections and learning about HSAs and HRAs, to hearing how the Inflation Reduction Act has impacted community pharmacy, attendees will develop new strategies and learn useful tips to implement back in their store.

Providing dynamic patient care can be hard for community pharmacists these days, especially when controlled substances are involved. Mark Garofoli, PharmD, MBA, BCGP, CPE, CTTS, clinical assistant professor and director of experiential learning at West Virginia University School of Pharmacy, will discuss how to apply the principles of Walt Disney to provide the best patient care.
