Medicine Shoppe expands MTM program
Medicine Shoppe International (MSI), which franchises the Medicine Shoppe and Medicap Pharmacy brands, has announced that three of its pharmacists rank among Community Care Rx's (CCRx) top 10 performers. Beginning in 2006, MSI officials worked with pharmacists from both of its brands to develop medication therapy management programs. Medicine Shoppe and Medicap pharmacists also use CCRx's on-line training modules and live Webinars for training. "These examples are proof of the difference Medicine Shoppe and Medicap Pharmacy pharmacists are able to make in their patients' lives through the Community MTM program," said Sam Rajan, VP of clinical operations of Member Health, plan sponsor for CCRx.
