Medco is erecting a new mail-order pharmacy in Indiana, which it claims will be the world's largest
Medco announced that Whitestown, Ind., will be the site of the world's largest and most automated mail-order pharmacy it is planning to build. Some 1,300 new jobs for pharmacists, technicians, and others will be created. Hiring will begin in the second quarter of 2008 and continue in 2010 and 2011. The $140 million pharmacy, when completed, will occupy six and a half football fields and is expected to fill up to one million Rxs a week.
