MedBasics, Irving, Texas, a leading operator of retail health clinics, announced it would expand its clinic operation into retail drugstores under a new affiliation with Pine Bluff, Ark.-based USA Drug.
MedBasics, Irving, Texas, a leading operator of retail health clinics, announced it would expand its clinic operation into retail drugstores under a new affiliation with Pine Bluff, Ark.-based USA Drug. The agreement calls for MedBasics to open five clinics in USA Drug stores throughout Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tennessee by the end of 2007, with up to 60 total clinic openings projected over the next three years. USA Drug's first in-store clinic will open in Little Rock, Ark., late this summer, with clinics opening in Tulsa, Okla., and Memphis, Tenn., later this year.
