Keep up the good work
Like JP, I am near the end of my career, and I am determined that before I count my last pill, I can make a difference. Some say that I am crazy, but I really believe that independent practice is poised for a renaissance - but not with dispensing. I believe that my Take Charge program [a "Lifestyle Modification System for Pharmacists" that gives them tools to share with patients] and other strategies like it will prove invaluable in the new healthcare system, whatever it may be. Saving the "system" money is going to be worth its weight in gold, and I believe that community pharmacists are ideally positioned for this role. Folks like JP and I have set the table. It is up to them to seize the next opportunity."
