Lawrence Kocot, senior adviser to the administrator at CMS, announced that he is leaving the agency. A CMS spokesman said that Kocot's replacement has not been named. Kocot issued a statement that said, "It has been an incredible honor to serve the public in my role at CMS ? CMS has been the most fascinating and rewarding experience of my career, and I have loved every minute of it. However, after much reflection, my family and I have decided that the time is right for me to move on to pursue some of my professional goals and interests in the private sector."
