Hy-Vee's generic drug program now includes a 90-day supply of medicine for $10. About 400 drugs are available at that price, including antibiotics and drugs that treat allergies, asthma, arthritis, diabetes, cholesterol, and digestive issues.

Hy-Vee is an employee-owned corporation that operates 224 retail stores in seven states and recorded $5.6 billion in sales in 2007.
