AARP, consumer groups, unions, and a business and labor coalition jointly call for affordable prescription drugs.
While much of the attention in New York has been focused on the resignation of governor Eliot Spitzer, a group of consumer advocates, unions, and a business and labor organization joined together to call for more affordable prescription drugs in the state. AARP and Consumers Union joined six other organizations to call for action on state budget Drug Topics, "This is one of the better budgets we've seen."
