Specifically, the Extra Strength Genapap 500-mg and Extra Strength Genebs 500-mg tablets and caplets are affected. This inadvertent increase in the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen could put patients at risk for liver injury, although the company said it has received no reports of serious illness or injury related to the labeling mishap.
