Generic Tolterodine Tartrate ER Capsules for Overactive Bladder

Generic Detrol LA® (tolterodine tartrate extended release capsules, Chamber® Pharmaceuticals, Inc.)
Indications: overactive bladder with symptoms of urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequency.
Dosage
- 4mg capsules taken orally 1x day w/water
- 2 mg capsules taken orally 1xday with water if...
- mild to moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh class A or B)
- severe renal impairment [Creatinine Clearance (CCr) 10–30 mL/min]
- drugs that are potent CYP3A4 inhibitors
Contraindications
- Urinary retention
- Gastric retention
- Uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma
- Known hypersensitivity to the drug or its ingredients, or fesoterodine fumarate ER tablets
