Consumer Healthcare Products Association is expanding its Five Moms campaign to help prevent teen cough medicine abuse.

Building on the success of its Five Moms campaign, which features five mothers who encourage parents to have conversations with kids about cough medicine abuse, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association is expanding the program this Mother's Day. The Five Moms are offering several steps moms and dads can take that will open the conversations with their teens about cough medicine abuse. Among their key tips, which can be found at FiveMoms.com are the following: educate yourself; safeguard medicines at home; communicate with your teen; monitor Internet usage; and recognize signs your teen may be abusing cough medicine.
