Eye drops and eye/ear wash products recalled by FDA, NuCel Labs NuCel Labsand FDA informed consumers and healthcare professionals of a voluntary nationwiderecall of all Eye Drops and Eye/Ear Wash Products. The products were recalledafter testing indicated the presence of bacteria and particulate matter, deemingthese products non-sterile. Non-sterile eye drops pose an unacceptable risk ofcausing eye infections, which in rare cases could lead to blindness. No illnessesor injuries have been reported to date. There are no lot numbers or expirationdates on the products. Consumers who have the products should discontinue useand return them to NuCel Labs.
