Human plasma and flu vaccine distributor FFF Enterprises plans to launch Verified Electronic Pedigree (VEP) to track products through the supply chain. Hosted by SupplyScape, VEP will allow hospitals, pharmacies, and physicians to view and authenticate e-drug pedigrees. While Florida's stringent drug pedigree regulations take effect in July, 10 other states have adopted similar regulations and more than a dozen states are in the process of strengthening oversight of the drug supply chain.
