Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy has promoted Atheer Kaddis, PharmD, to senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Kaddis previously served as senior vice president of managed markets and clinical services.
“Atheer is a seasoned professional who has a deep understanding of specialty pharmacy,” said Gary Kadlec, president of Diplomat. “In this new position, Atheer will bring
our sales, marketing, business development, and trade relations under one authority to allow an agile and seamless response to all of the needs of Diplomat’s clients and stakeholders.”
Kaddis said, “Coordination of our strategies within core areas of our business will allow Diplomat to become an even stronger company, exceeding the expectations of our current and future customers and partners.”
Prior to his positions at Diplomat, Kaddis served as director of pharmacy services clinical for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where his responsibilities included formulary and clinical program development, utilization management and specialty pharmacy programs, and pay-for-performance programs.
Michigan-based Diplomat, the nation’s largest privately owned specialty pharmacy, focuses on complete medication management programs for patients across the country with serious and chronic conditions, according to a release issued by the company.
