From 10 am to 2 pm on that day, consumers are encouraged to safely and legally dispose of any unneeded pills, including prescription pain pills and other controlled substance medications.
The take-back service is free and anonymous, and DEA officials will accept tablets, capsules, and all other solid dosage forms of unwanted medication. Consumers can black out personal information on prescription bottles or empty the medications from the bottles into the bins provided.
