Concordia receives first campaign gift toward pharmacy school
Shopko, a discount retailer, donated $1 million.

Concordia University in Mequon, Wis., received $1 million from local discount retailer Shopko to help the university build a pharmacy school.
The money marks the first gift to the university for its $20 million campaign to construct a School of Pharmacy. The pharmacy school is expected to open by 2010.
Currently, the only pharmacy school in Wisconsin is located at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
