Pharmacy school will be first to be established on the campus of a U.S. women's college.
The College of Notre Dame of Maryland is slated to open the doors to a School of Pharmacy in fall 2009, claiming the status as the such school to be established on the campus of a women's college in the United States.
The program will focus on leadership development and women's health care and will be open to women and men.
Founding dean is Anne Y. F. Lin, Pharm. D., who most recently served as the dean and professor of Midwestern University's College of Pharmacy Glendale in Arizona.
