The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has released an improved plan finder with details on 2008 Medicare Part D prescription drug plans.
CMS releases details on 2008 Part D plansCMS has released more details about the 2008 Medicare prescription drug plans. The agency has made the information available on-line at its www.medicare.gov Web site. The site plan finder offers additional information this year, including out-of-pocket costs, pharmacy networks, and important Medicare news and updates. Open enrollment begins on Nov. 15. CMS also announced that it expects Part D plans to provide accurate and timely beneficiary enrollment and subsidy information, effectively address increased call volumes from beneficiaries and pharmacies, and to ensure the effective transition to plan year 2008.
