CDC expands recommended pediatric age range for influenza vaccine
The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention recommends influenza vaccine for all children six months to 18 years old.

The CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) has unanimously voted to expand the recommended age range for annual influenza immunization to include all children six months of age to 18 years old. The vote was taken at an agency meeting in Atlanta in February and will increase the number of children needing the vaccine by about 30 million. The
