A third new program?on workers compensation?will become available later this year.
Already offering accreditation for pharmacy benefit managers, URAC has approved standards for two new programs: specialty pharmacy and mail-order pharmacy. The Washington, D.C., based accrediting organization added that a third new program-on workers compensation-will become available later this year. URAC said its standards are developed by a pharmacy advisory committee consisting of employers, consumers, pharmacy consultants, health plans, retail pharmacists, PBMs, and others.
